19th British Combinatorial Conference

Conference Concert

Maths at Bangor

Can you sing? Can you dance? Perhaps you can sound the trumpet? Or strum the Welsh harp? If so, WE WISH TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Once again this year, Donald Preece is organising the Conference Concert, to be held on the Tuesday evening (July 1st).

In the past, these occasions have been extraordinarily successful because of the musical and thespian talents of Conference delegates who have willingly voluteered their performing skills for the enjoyment of all.

Volunteers are now sought for this year's show, to be held in the PowisHall,
where the Music Department's 8-octave Bosendorfer grand piano will be available for use.

(Note that Powis Hall contains the 600 sq ft Ed Povey mural The Hall of Illusion.)

If you have ideas or suggestions of what you or others might contribute, please email Donald at d.a.preece@ukc.ac.uk

If you are a vocalist or instrumentalist who will need a piano accompanist, we may well be able to offer this (as in previous years), with an opportunity for some rehearsal on the Tuesday afternoon.
