The position of the university on admission to Mathematics degrees in the future is indicated by the following statement from the Admissions Office (dated 13 October 2005):
Mathematics courses have been suspended at UCAS for 2006 entry.
Options for developing new teaching programmes and a research capability
are currently being explored - but no decisions have yet been reached.
We will try to inform interested parties of the outcome as soon as possible.
