This award has supported the acquisition of a Scanning Near-Field Optical Microscopy ( SNOM ) Facility which is being used to enhance research on optoelectronic , polymer and bio-electronic devices being undertaken within the School of Informatics ,University of Wales, Bangor.The relevant work is currently supported by EPSRC , BBSRC and is undertaken in collaboration with a diverse industrial base which receives direct benefits from the research .
