Summary

 

The main aim of this project is to design, fabricate and test  unipolar intersubband

optoelectronic devices with wavelengths of  operation in the range 1.55 mm - 2.0  mm.

Specific objectives of the  work are  :

(  i)The demonstration of intersubband emission  at  a wavelength  2.0  mm 

( ii)The evaluation of    wave-mixing capabilities at   2.0 mm

(iii) The evaluation of  structures for 1.55 mm   intersubband operation
